Why am I not losing weight?
I have been on the keno diet for 6weeks now, only lost 6 pounds, very discouraging. I have followed all the guidelines. Upped fat intake and lost one more pound then that was it. Can’t exercise much due to bulging disk. I do work as a nurse and am on my feet moving around for 12 hrs at a time. I am in my 50’s and have type 2 diabetes, any suggestions out there. I seriously need good advice, I am struggling. Really wanting to rid myself of diabetes

Hi Debby-first of all, congrats on the 6 lbs! I am always looking to celebrate all victories, big or small! If you were my client, I would have you look at WHAT you are eating and how much/how little you are eating. Working as a nurse you probably have little time to eat a full meal. It could be that you are consuming fat blocking foods or have underlying sensitivities you are unaware of such as dairy or nuts. Your stress levels as well as the quantity/quality of your sleep will make a difference to that weight budging. I would start with those areas first and see if any tweaks need to be made then continue to adjust from there.
You can do this!
