Stroke and keto
My husband had a stroke 3 1/2 years ago. He is on a lot of blood pressure medication and also a medication for nodules in his adrenal glands which causes low potassium. Will the keto diet lower his potassium even more and would it effect his kidneys and liver.
Has anyone been on the keto diet after a stroke and if so how has it worked.

Honestly I would work closely with his doctor. Electrolytes like potassium do tend to drop on Keto so I’d be concerned about him starting it.
