Snacks in between meals
Hi Jean – it’s obviously better to not snack, but I know that’s often not practical.
A few ideas:
1. Identify why you’re snacking. As Carol pointed out it could be needing to drink more water. For me, it’s often boredom or out of habit.
2. If you’re hungry, then maybe you need to eat more during your meals.
3. A few good snack options – I really like Keto fat bombs. Just a small piece is enough to keep me going (because it’s so fatty I can’t eat too much of it). Here are some you can make: https://ketosummit.com/what-are-ketogenic-fat-bombs-recipes-how-to-make
And if you want some snacks you can buy, then there’s a list here: https://ketosummit.com/the-best-keto-snacks
You can snack on any of the foods from your approved list. I have found that if I am drinking enough water (very important) I am rarely if ever hungry between meals. A spoonful of coconut oil or nut butters can be delicious! almond is my favorite. Walnut butter is good but rather expensive. Stick to organics whenever you can.
