Running and Keto

My dad has had some trouble with running and eating Keto. He runs around 30 miles a week. Because he runs so much, he gets really hungry at night. But he’s still trying to lose some weight so it’s not like he can just go eat some ice cream. He’s been eating fat bombs, but he’s so hungry that he’ll eat too much and then gain more weight. He’s been eating more protein in every meal, but that doesn’t always help either. Any ideas?

Hey Sarah! I think a great resource for you would be Nourish Balance Thrive. They are all athletes who follow a low carb lifestyle. It sounds to me that he is not eating enough food because he is getting hungry! I would increase his daily calories and increase his portions maybe.
