Recommended level of glutamine consumption for cancer patient
I have learned via Keto Summit that carbohydrates and glutamine support cancer cells. Since I do Crossfit 5 days per week, I supplement with a high-quality whey protein drink mix that contains about 6,000 mg of glutamic acid per serving. Is this too much glutamine for a cancer patient? I can switch to a plant-based protein drink mix that has 478 mg of glutamic acid per serving, if the whey protein supplement contains too much.
