Question about healthy fats
If my body is in ketosis and I am burning ketones instead of glucose, what happens to the fat I eat? In other words, if I take a tablespoon of coconut oil does that provide energy to my body by turning it into ketones? If so, wouldn’t I want to limit my intake of fats if my goal is to lose weight by burning stored fat instead of burning energy from the fat I eat? This is a little confusing to me. I am hoping someone can clear this up. Thanks.

Yes, you would limit your fat intake based on the amount your body requires. Excess fat will be burned which means your stored fat wouldn’t be getting burned!
