percentages or grams ...
I’m confused as to whether its the 80/15/5 rule or the actual grams of fat/protein/carbs that is most important.
any thoughts?

For me i prefer to use grams to track my macros, try using a macro calculator.
All down to personal preference

I’ve only just started and use the calculator on My Fitness Pal. I’ve not found a food that isn’t listed. Key in the weights of what you’ve eaten and it gives you both percentages and calories. Hope this helps.
