Normal weight loss on first week?

Hi, I just finished my first week and only lost 3 lbs. I’m still proud of that, but on other diets I’ve lost as much as 10 lbs in my first week. I do have approximately 100 lbs to lose, so I figured my weight loss would be different on this program. Also, how do you know when you’re in ketosis??

Hey Denise! I can take a little while to see changes in some people and for others it is seen the first few days. There are a ton of reasons why someone would not lose weight. Stress, lack of sleep, food sensitivities (like dairy), too many carbs for your body, etc. Here is a great article about testing ketones. 🙂
