No weight loss in 3 weeks

I have been following the Keto plan for 3 weeks. I have been tracking everything I eat on an app. I keep the net carb level at 17 mg or under. Daily I’m very close to the ratio 75-20-5%. I was eating 1600 calories but lowered it to 1200 after a week and a half. I have only lost only 3 pounds in all that time which I’m attributing to water weight. I need to lose 50. The keto sticks are not changing color. I read that because I have been eating low carbs for years that the sticks might not change, but I didn’t think it would make it so I wouldn’t lose weight also.

I’m enjoying the diet and the recipes, but I want to lose weight too. Can anyone suggest what I’m doing wrong or what hormones I need to have checked?

Hey Paula!

There could be a few factors that affect weight loss. One could be the types of foods you are eating. Even though your daily carbs are low, if it isn’t from leafy greens and real foods, that can stall your weight. Are you eating a lot of dairy or nuts? This could cause issue. How’s your sleep and stress? These are all factors. Good luck!
