Here is an interesting article about diseases, and the problems with lowcarb/keto diets.  They don’t seem to be as healthy as thought.

Opinions?

From that so-called “article”:

“if you are suffering with a neurological symptom or condition, bringing ample glucose into your diet is critical. The central nervous system needs an abundance of the natural sugar found in fruits and starchy vegetables like potatoes and sweet potatoes when you are working to heal from a neurological disease.
High fat and protein and low carbohydrate diets are not preferable for anyone suffering with ALS, Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), or any other neurological symptoms or conditions.”

Not only is this totally unsubstantiated by the author with anything resembling data or facts, this is the most irresponsible load of horsepuckey I have read in a long time. I say this as someone who has epilepsy which is well under control thanks to a keto diet.
Your central nervous system is mostly made up of fat and the myelin sheaths on all neurons are made of fat.

That “article” is just another snake oil salesperson selling you another magic “heavy metals cleanse” who tosses in some ridiculous unsubstantiated “alternative facts” along the way.
