Lemon water

About lemon water… some drink it while being on keto diet, some don’t. I’ve heard it is a good thing to do as well that it is not.  So I have some questions about it.

  1. Doesn’t it raise your blood sugar levels/ take you out of ketosis/ is too many carbs when you drink it in the morning on empty stomack?
  2. If you drink lemon water, why and when? In the morning? before a meal, with a meal?
  3. If you don’t drink it, why?

not a fan on lemon juice, although I have keto flu for 6 months (broken metabolism) Only things that helped were bouillon cubes and drinking 16 ounces of water every 2 hours- not sipping, chugging.
