Ketosis but no weight loss

I started this diet last week and I’m in ketosis according to urine strips. I started my period on the same day. I haven’t lost any weight yet and I’ve been following the diet completely. Could it be the dairy? My period?

Hey Jessie-during this time of the month our hormones and everything go all kinds of crazy! You can definitely retain more water during this time as well. I would skip the dairy and the nuts for the first few weeks to get a jump start on the weightloss. Getting adequate rest, water and macronutrients all play a part in this. One week is not long enough to make a long term decision on if this works for you or not. 🙂 Keep it up and give it about a month to see how you feel. Good luck!!
