Keto Diet without Meat, Dairy and Sugar-substitutes?
I want to try a Ketogenic diet for two main reasons: first, I have a seizure disorder and have recently had to have the levels of anti-convulsives increased due to 2 partial seizures, secondly, to maintain a 30 lb. weight loss. The main problem I have is that I do not eat meat (or pork); I do eat eggs, seafood and will eat poultry on occasion. Also, I’m a breast cancer survivor, which was estrogen-receptor positive, so I try to avoid most dairy milk and cheese, and I’m not a fan of artificial sweeteners. I’ve done lo-carb diets, and I love nuts, but is a true Keto diet even going to be possible?

Hey! First I’d like to say that there are 50 shades of keto so a “true” keto diet isn’t necessarily a clear description. You can do keto with seafood and poulty, no problem. I don’t do much dairy either and find it feels best in my body. It is definitely doable. Good luck! Becky
