Keto blood counts

I have been eating Keto for a month. I keep my carbs under 20 and journal my food on myfitnessplan. I check my blood a couple of times a week at different times of the day after about 2 hrs from eating. It stays between .2 & .3. the only dairy I use besides butter is heavy whipping cream in my coffee each morning. I only drink one cup (12 oz). I checked the list ofย  signs and dry mouth/constant thirst is present. I drink water all day. I’m finding that my appetite is diminishing more, (which I didn’t realize is normal until I read a couple of articles.) not sure about the breath. I’ve not lost more than a couple of pounds of weight but I’ve lost them a couple of times. then gain it back, etc.ย  I feel fatigued in the afternoons, but sleep good at night. no constipation or diarrhea. maybe I’m still transitioning into ketosis. I’m not sure. any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hey! Do you practice Intermittent fasting at all? Also if you have hypothyroid you may need to limit your daily carb intake to 20 TOTAL carbs per day for therapeutic purposes. Losing weight is so individualized it is hard to say why it isn’t coming off. It could be food sensitivities (try eliminating the HWC too and see if it helps.) It could also be from eating too many processed/packaged keto foods and/or not be eating enough vegetables. It sounds like your body may be making changes that aren’t visible on the outside yet. Keep going! Also add in some sea salt to your water and drink bone broth to up your electrolytes! As far as being tired in the afternooons, try switching up different foods at lunch. If you are eating a lot of protein maybe its overloading your system. I’d also look into mediation/prayer time to reduce stress. ๐Ÿ™‚
