I am having trouble eating enough protein to get my minimum amount in.  Is it ok to drink something like Whey mixed in water as a supplement?

Hey Linda Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and helps give structure to our hair, skin, nails, bones, ligaments and tendons in our body. … Collagen protein is different than whey and casein protein because of these high levels of amino acids. Goes well in anything like smoothies, soups, stews, I put a tablespoon in my coffee, goes in anything.

Hey Linda!

It is ok with adding in protein powder like whey if you are not sensitive to dairy or egg white protein powder if you are sensitive. Do you eat meat? Chicken is my go-to protein!

I think, yes, that would be okay

But I personally like to get all my protein from foods like meat, eggs, and offal (this just means meat organs)

If you like to eat meat, then I think you should keep some extra grilled chicken breasts or hamburger patties in your fridge

Add some sauerkraut or something on top and whenever you want a snack have a couple bites of that

Some protein powders can have a good amount of carbs in them from my experience. Check out Isopure whey protein. Has zero carbs and around 25 grams of protein per scoop. On the spendy side for a jug though.
