Hi All,

I am looking for a good recipe (or recipes) for fat bombs that can be made quickly and easily, and I am not the greatest cook.  Any suggestions?  I don’t care if they look pretty, I just want something that tastes great.  My first attempt ended with me eating portions with a spoon.

This is the easiest fat bomb possible! Lemon Zingers 1 c soft coconut oil juice and zest of 1 lemon Xylitol to taste Let cool enough to make spoonfuls on a plate, then freeze. I use xylitol because of how it makes the mouth feel so cool. Pop a lemon zinger in your mouth in the middle of summer heat and enjoy the burst of cold!

I have a few, buy paleo bread from Julian Bakery, spread butter flavored coconut oil on it from nutiva, and top with cinnamon and stevia for cinnamon toast. I also top this bread with my homemade almond butter, walnut butter, etc. The Almond Toast is GREAT with avocado mashed and spread over with scrambled eggs.

I make a flat bread with just coconut flour and egg whites, love topping this with a avocado spread like guacamole, or spreading a nut butter and cinnamon on it.

I found full fat cocoa nibs in ground form form crio bru supposed to be used to brew a coffee replacement.. I mix them with a bit of stevia powder to sweeten them and put them over nut butter on toast or just eat them by the hand full for busting chocolate sweet cravings and full of fats and fiber.

Another thing I make is a paleo garlic cheesy bread, this sells great at markets and at my bakery. I use vegan non dairy cheese that uses coconut oil, and sunflower seeds for a base in it melt it down mixing it with butter flavored coconut oil, almond flour, coconut flour garlic powder, and a bit of apple sauce or a egg then form it into rolls for a dairy free grain free cheesy garlic bread.

This recipe is from Pinterest,  and these fat bombs are amazing.  They do need to be kept frozen, and I am not sure what if that is what you are looking for, but they are fantastically easy and delicious.

Creamsicle Fat Bombs

2 cups whipping cream

1 package sugar free orange jello (other flavours are great too)

1 tbsp vanilla or sugar free vanilla syrup

Add all ingredients and beat until almost the consistency of whipped cream.  Either pipe or spoon into silicone molds or baking cups, freeze for about 2 hours and they are ready to go.

How do you count the nutrients in this recipe?

Just take the macros (fat, protein and carbs) of the whipping cream and divide by the number of fat bombs you make from the recipe. I calculated that with 15 bombs per batch it works out to about 6 grams of fat and 1 gram of protein per bomb. Carbs are so low they don’t need to be counted, unless you eat the whole batch.

  • Even I couldn’t mess that up! Not a fan of jello but I bet if I subbed some cinnamon it would be tasty, too. Thanks!

It really doesn’t have a jello consistency at all – that’s just used for flavoring. They are very creamy and delicious!

I’ve been making these…Pecan Cinnamon Coconut Butter Bites. Mix coconut butter with cinnamon and a dash of stevia. Add a dollop on a pecan. Refrigerate and enjoy.
