Do we count carbs or net carbs in vegetables?
Thanks for stopping by! I know this can be a confusing subject with so much conflicting information out there. I personally count net carbs for all the foods that I eat. I believe the school of thought that you should count “total carbs” for all foods is that the variety of “keto junk food” is abundant and it is easy to stay within your macros without actually nourishing your body. (yikes!)
If you are eating a lot of keto products that come with a box (atkins bars, shakes, keto cookies, bars, etc) then I would count total carbs for everything. If you are filling your diet with more of the right foods such as fish, chicken, organic meats, green leafy veggies and delicious fats then I would count netcarbs.
