Calcium?

I have started a keto diet with my husband, after he got a medium risk score on his CAC scan.  I have to admit I’m struggling at the moment to think of new recipes that we might enjoy and the internet is very helpful in this. Being allowed cheese certainly makes food more interesting, so I’ve bought a heap of cheese.  However I now wonder, will excess cheese/cream/milk etc, mean excess calcium?  If so will this impact the amount of calcification in the arteries?  I’m desperately trying to do every thing possible to help my husband become healthy.  I don’t want to contribute toward making matters worse.  This is still all very new to me, so please help me understand.

Hey, great question. I don’t know that it will raise the level of calcium to the point of being dangerous but I wouldn’t recommend eating gobs of dairy products. It often can cause weight stalls for a lot of people as well as make you feel sluggish. I would use it moderately. 🙂
