breaking down macros

When tracking your Macros, using an App, how do you know exactly ‘how many’ Carbs/Fat/Protein each food has? Do you really have to look up each item and then figure out your serving size to determine how many Macros it has?

Hi! I find it is easiest to use a popular app like My Fitness Pal that has a lot of recipes already entered. Sometimes a website will have the information for the serving so you can just plug it in. If not, then yes you have to manually enter each ingredient.
