How do you break a water fast and stay in ketosis.

Hi.

I’ve  learned that a fast way to enter ketosis is by doing a water fast – typically 48 hours for a woman and 72 hours for a man. How do you break a water fast and stay in ketosis. Most of the guidelines that I’ve read say eat some fruit and lightly cooked veg for the first day or two then reintroduce other foods each day after. Thank you.

No fruit!  That will immediately make you a sugar burner again.  If you have pure fat, you will stay in ketosis.  So heavy cream with coffee is great.  As for actually eating, keep it high fat, moderate protein and low carb.
