Are beans keto friendly?
I did not think we should eat beans (high in carbs). But I seen on another site that beans are on our keto friendly list.
Please verify this. Thank you.

- I still eat green beans as they aren’t too bad carb-wise and are a delight with loads of butter and black pepper on! A cup of cooked green beans = 4 net carbs.

Green beans is allowed in small quantities, depending on your carb goal

Yeah, unfortunately beans aren’t part of the Keto diet (except for small amounts of green beans). There are a few reasons for this:
1. Beans tend to have more carbs – (green beans have less hence one reason why it’s allowed).
2. Beans often cause digestive issues for people. This is especially the case if you have digestive issues (like IBS) already. Soaking and cooking the beans really well can resolve some of these digestive issues.
