In the 4th week keto my family told me my breath wasn’t great 🙁 It just about made me quit. Thankfully I got real with myself and decided I would try to fix the breath and not quit the diet that has changed everything for me. My blood ketone strips were measuring pretty high ketones so I decided to up my carbs and try to keep my ketones around 1mml PLUS brush more, use gum more and also use peppermint essential oils here and there. Just a dab on the roof of my mouth. OH and drink more water. I told my husband to promise to tell me if it stinks again and he said it’s been fine. I know some people say it gets better as your body adapts longer so keep going!!! It’s worth it!
