Alternative to heavy cream?
Great question! Sadly I’m in the same boat with you! I LOVE heavy whipping cream but it sends me to the bathroom almost immediately. 🙁 If it is for coffee or a drink I use almond or coconut milk instead. If you need it for a creamier consistency like in a recipe I would use canned coconut milk and keep it in the fridge at least an hour before using it for it to be solid.
hmmmm yeah that’s tough.
I use canned coconut milk and there’s usually the thick fatty part on top. That’s what I use in my keto coffee. The only thing is that it does have a relatively strong coconut flavor to it… If you like coconut then I’d say that’s the way to go.
I hope this helps!

Full fat canned coconut milk – put in your blender with 2 tablespoons of vanilla (you can add a little cinnamon too if you like). Once blended, pour in a jar and it stores in the fridge for a week – just give it a shake before you use it.

Powdered MCT is the best I have found for coffee. It is actually the best creamer I have found period, texture, flavor, hits all the marks. Right behind it is emulsified MCT oil which comes in flavors like creamer as well as plain.
For recipes coconut cream works well, this is the full fat canned version not the coconut milk which is very watery. Also for most items I have found adding Avocado will thicken things up even better than oils or cream and adds moisture while avoiding watering down the recipe. It works very well in baking.

Variations for Coconut Cream – to downplay the coconut flavor:
To 1 cup thick coconut cream — Add 1 tsp. pure Maple Extract (the real stuff), 1 tsp. organic orange juice or 1/8 tsp. Orange Blossom water + 1 tsp. Bocha Sweet and whip. Refrigerate.
OR — 1/2 tsp. pure Peppermint extract, a few drops of lemon juice and Bocha Sweet.
You can also add Raspberry powder (a powerful nutrient), Vanilla extract and Bocha Sweet.
