Are you having an allergic reaction to something new in your diet? Maybe too much of something your body normally isn’t used to getting. For example: some people start hitting the dairy pretty hard on keto – when normally they didn’t eat that much dairy before. This could be a trigger; dairy can be pretty harsh for a lot of people especially when it’s a sudden ‘overload’. This can cause a myriad of symptoms depending on how your body deals with something (they were actually sensitive to all along).
Keeping a food journal is awesome for issues that might come up for you. You can look back and possibly make the connection – or find the trigger. The journal doesn’t have to be elaborate when you are starting out. Just writing down what you ate is a start. You can progress into a more detailed journal as you become accustom (remembering) to logging your information. It’s the: forming a habit. This one is a good habit to have, especially when you are doing something new. You can do this with a pen and notebook or digitally – there are (diet-tracking/food/nutrition) phone apps for this as well.
